Our tax service is located on the southwest corner of Grand and Dale in St. Paul at 624 Grand Avenue.

We have been serving clients at this location since 1977. We are open year round for the convenience of our clients. During the tax season we employ eight consultants. Five of our consultants have been enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service.

We are not accountants. We have chosen to concentrate on the preparation of Individual Income Tax Returns.

We prepare the complete Federal Tax Return and any State return. We make it a practice to obtain forms from every State so that we can be ready to serve any client who has moved into or out of Minnesota. Our fees are based on the complexity of the tax return. A new client who itemizes deductions and has no self-employment or rental property should expect to pay approximately $140.00 for their tax preparation. Rental property owners and self-employed persons should anticipate a minimum fee of $200.00. These basic fees go up, as the return gets more complicated. A person who is not itemizing and files Federal and State returns could expect a fee of $60.

There is a $40 charge for filing for the Minnesota Property Tax Refund.

Electronic filing is included in the cost of the preparation.

We generally meet with each of our clients to gather the information necessary to prepare the tax return. We provide a "Tax Organizer" so the client will be prepared for our meeting. After we have met with our client we prepare the tax returns in a format for electronically filing or we provide a laser printed return that can be sent by mail to the government. In either case the client receives a complete copy for their files. We keep a copy on file for three years.
